Once any one or more of the web transactions listed below are submitted on a NetCommunity website, that information is transferred over to be processed into the Raiser's Edge through the NetCommunity Plug-in.

Where can I find and how do I access the NetCommunity Plug-in?
In order to access the NetCommunity Plug-in within Raiser's Edge, simply log into the Raiser's Edge, and click on the, "NetCommunity," option in the left vertical blue pane. If you do not see NetCommunity in the left blue pane, there are three questions you should ask...
1. WHO HOSTS YOUR RAISER'S EDGE DATABASE?: -- If Blackbaud hosts your Raiser's Edge database, then you will access the NetCommunity plug-in by logging into a Citrix hosted environment and clicking on the icon labeled, "Raiser's Edge with the NetCommunity Plug-in." Once Raiser's Edge loads, you will see "NetCommunity" as an option in the blue left vertical pane. -- If your organization self-hosts your own Raiser's Edge database in-house, then you will most likely be accessing the NetCommunity plug-in on a workstation (computer) and will need to make sure the NetCommunity plug-in is installed on your computer. (see step 2)
2. IS THE NETCOMMUNITY PLUG-IN INSTALLED?: -- On your computer, go to: Start > Control Panel > Program and Features > Uninstall of change a program. > If you see the word "Blackbaud," in the list that appears, then your workstation does have the plug in. > If you do not see, "Blackbaud." in the list that appears, then you need to install the NetCommunity Plug-in on your workstation.
3. DO YOU HAVE THE NECESSARY RIGHTS TO ACCESS THE NETCOMMUNITY PLUG-IN? -- If your organization is self-hosted (step 1), and you have verified that you do have the NetCommunity Plug-in installed on your workstation (step 2), you will need to check with your Raiser's Edge Administrator to verify if your RE account is given the necessary permissions to access the NetCommunity Plug-in.
