Volunteer jobs still appear in a job search even when marked inactive

When marking a volunteer job inactive, you may find that it still appears when doing a job search. Once a job is marked inactive, it still appears in the job search on the Volunteers tab if it has active occurrences.

We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Alternative Solution:

Mark both the job and its occurrences inactive to prevent the job from appearing in the Job Search. To mark a job inactive, go to the Volunteer tab. Search for the job. On the left under Tasks, mark it inactive.  To mark the occurrences inactive, when you have located the job, on the occurrences tab, click the downward arrow next to the occurrence and mark it inactive.
