When adding a spouse to a constituent record and the spouse is not an existing constituent in the database, the original constituent’s email address is automatically populated to the spouse’s record

When adding a spouse to a constituent record, either on the Relationships tab or using the Add spouse task, and the spouse is not an existing constituent in the database, the original constituent’s email address is automatically populated to the spouse’s record.  This causes problems when sending emails based on queries as it creates duplicates.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.
