This error can occur if Blackbaud Web Services was previously installed and registered to a specific Raiser's Edge database. Blackbaud Web Services should only be installed on one workstation or server with 24/7 internet access, so it's important to first confirm that the Blackbaud Web Services is not installed anywhere else.

To confirm that the Blackbaud Web Services is not installed: 
  1. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services - look for the Blackbaud Web Services in the list. If it is listed, it is already installed.
  2. Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features and look for the line item for The Raiser's Edge and Luminate Online integration. If it is listed, it is already installed.
  3. Walk through steps 1 and 2 on any workstation that could have Blackbaud Web Services installed

Once you have confirmed that Blackbaud Web Services is not installed on any workstation: 
  1. Click Yes to the message to complete the installation
  2. Ensure the connection between The Raiser's Edge and Luminate Online is running
