We must add a room type to a code table and then add it to the location. Follow the steps below:
  1. Go to Administration > Code Tables
  2. Use the filter and find "Event" as the Category > Click Apply
  3. Click on Event Lodging Room Type
  4. Click Add
  5. The description of the room can be something like the bed type (King, Double, Single) or it can describe the type of room (Guest, Suite, etc)
  6. Click Ok
  7. Go to Events > Locations > Lodging Locations. Click the link for more information on how to add a lodging location
  8. Once the location is added, click the double green arrows next to the Lodging Location. 
  9. Click Edit.
  10. Add the room type(s) in the bottom left
  11. Click Save
  12. Go to Events > Search for your event > Select Event
  13. Click the Lodging Options tab
  14. Click Add
  15. Select your Lodging Location and see room type is now a drop down option.
  16. Click Save
