When configuring a correspondence process, users can choose to view their output in a number of different output formats, or as an export definition. When choosing a pre-defined output format, the "Formatted mail correspondence output" option allows users to choose address and name format processing options. It also includes the option to mark the checkbox "Include household member processing" to turn on household processing.
With these options selected, when two individuals from the same household are included in the mailing selection, they are combined, and only the household information is exported. However, when only one spouse from a household is included in the selection, two records are exported - the individual record, and his/her household record. This results in duplicate rows in the export that need to be cleaned up.
