Luminate Online is currently integrated with, which allows automated sales tax to be applied to products in your eCommerce store.  If your site is not already configured for eCommerce sales tax, contact Luminate support and have them enable this site option. 

In addition, you will need to purchase the corresponding sales tax solution called "Sales Tax Online".  This product can be purchased by phone at 1-800-739-9998 or by filling out the contact webform

Note: you will need to specifically mention the product Sales Tax Online (formerly Certitax) which is integrated with Luminate Online.
Once the steps above are completed, or if your site is already configured for eCommerce sales tax and you currently have Sales Tax Online, follow the steps below to have sales tax added to products:
  1. Select Fundraising > eCommerce.
  2. Click Edit next to the desired product
  3. Select Pricing
  4. Under This item requires sales tax, mark the box for Add sales tax to this product
  5. Click Save
  6. Select the Stores tab
  7. Click the Edit link next to the store where your product is sold
  8. Under Enter the serial number you were assigned for eSales Tax, enter the serial number provided by Sales Tax Online 
  9. Click Save
