When making updates to student information in Registrar's Office in Education Edge, some changes will automatically update in Faculty Access for the Web while others will need to be manually updated. Below is a guide as to how updates in the Registrar's Office will affect information in Faculty Access for the Web and what information will and will not be updated automatically in Faculty Access for the Web. 

Will Update

Class Notes: Class notes can be edited on the class record in The Education Edge and these changes will show in FAWeb. Alternately, changes in FAWeb will automatically push to The Education Edge. 

Student Information: Biographical information that is updated will update automatically to FAWeb for teachers to see if they click on a student name. Biographical information is not editable in FAWeb. 

Student Conduct: If new conduct is added from either Registrar's Office or FAWeb, it will update to the other immediately. 

Student Notes: If new student notes are added from either Registrar's Office or FAWeb, it will update to the other immediately. 

Attendance: If new student attendance is added from either Registrar's Office or FAWeb, it will update to the other immediately. 


Will Not Update

Grades: If a grade is updated in The Education Edge, FAWeb will not see that change. 

Skills: If a skill rating is updated in The Education Edge, FAWeb will not see that change. 

Comments: If a skill rating is updated in The Education Edge, FAWeb will not see that change. 


Note: Grades, skills, and comments will have to be manually updated in Faculty Access for the Web to reflect any changes made in The Education Edge.
