When adding Appeal information to Constituent records from an Email sent through Online Express users may receive an error.

Max length = 20 for Appeal
Appeal ID's can only have 20 characters. The subject line of the Email that was sent will become the name of the Appeal. The user who is adding the Appeals to the records needs to do the following:
1. Go to Tools>User Options>Records tab 2. Click Appeals on the left side 3. Change Appeal format from ID to Description 4. Click Apply 5. Click OK 6. Click File>Exit and Sign out of The Raiser's Edge 7. Login to The Raiser's Edge again and return to Online Express and add the Appeal information from the Email.
**Note: You must exit and sign out of The Raiser's Edge and login again for this User Option to resolve the issue.
