How to create the record query to group students based on a Charge Account Distribution Project ID:

1. In Query, click New.
2. Select the query type, Record, and format, Dynamic; click OK.
3. On the Criteria tab, select Record, Billing Status = Active. This will gather only the active students in the school.
4. On the Criteria tab, select Activity, Charge, Charge Account Distribution, Charge Distribution Project ID = one of or equals to the project IDs you want to query on.
5. On the Output tab, select Record, Last name and Record, First name to show the names of the students with this Project ID on their records.
6. On the Sort tab, select Activity, Charge, Charge Account Distribution, Charge Distribution Project ID to sort by the Project ID (if you are querying on more than one)
7. On the Sort tab, select Record, Last name to sort by student last name under each Project ID group
8. Click on the results tab to see the list of students and Project IDs.
9. Click on Export to Excel to view and edit the file in Excel.
10. Click save and close to name and save your query.
