When clicking on the Members tab of a Group, any non-admin user gets the error “The current user does not have rights to use this feature in the context of this specific record.”
Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
The problem with the user-defined data list “Configured Data Lists – Group Member Roles” was that its record type is “Group Member” instead of “Constituent”. “Group Member” is what the form picks for you when you pick “Groups Belonging To\Group Record ID” as the ID field. That is its best guess, but in this case, it is not appropriate. It’s really a data list whose context is a constituent.
The workaround is to change the record type of “Group Member” to “Constituent”, and then to be aware that, in the future, if the data list is changed, this will need to be done again.
