Emails in Luminate Online are overwritten with empty values when integrated with The Raiser’s Edge 7.94

After updating to The Raiser's Edge 7.94, some RE/LO Integration users may notice that emails on Constituent records in Luminate Online are being removed by the integration. On the Interactions tab for these Constituents in Luminate Online, users can see a Contact Record Change by The Raiser's Edge, where a valid email was switched to an Empty value (in other words, overwritten with blank data). This occurs even if the Raiser's Edge record does have a valid email listed on the Constituent Record, and that email is marked as Active and properly mapped in Luminate Online.
Download and install the latest version and patch for improved email processing.

Alternative Solution:
 
  1. In Luminate Online, go to Data Management > Luminate Configuration > Map Custom Fields
  2. On the Map Contact Fields screen, in “The Raiser’s Edge fields” dropdown for the Email: Email mapping, select a different Email type (must not be the one used for Secondary Emails)
  3. Click Finish
  4. Click Map Custom Fields again
  5. On the Map Contact Fields screen, in “The Raiser’s Edge fields” dropdown for the Email: Email mapping, select E-Mail
  6. Click Finish
  7. Return to a Constituent in RE with an email. Manually make an edit to the record using a mapped field (such as Religion, Ethnicity, Middle Name, Nickname, etc) to push the proper email over to Luminate Online
