- Go to Constituents > Constituent search and perform a search by typing in the email address in the email address field to make sure that the email on file for the constituent is unique to that constituent's record.
- If you find that email on another constituent record, if it is the same person, merge the two constituents together.
- If they are separate records, delete the email from one of the records. Go to the contact tab on the constituent record. Under Email Addresses, click on the email address that is shared with someone else and click Delete.
- If they are separate records but are in the same household and truly share the same email address, tell the patron to sign in online with the email address and password created by the other member in their household. If they need to reset the password, click Sign In online, enter in their email address, and click Forgot password.
The Online Info tab should only appear when a constituent has registered through a web form only.
