1. Create an import file in CSV format that contains the required fields · Lookup ID · Constituent Type · Last/org/household/Group Name · Alternate Lookup ID Type · Alternate Lookup ID

    Here is how the Import file should look with headers:
    Constituent Type
    Last/org/household/Group Name   
    Lookup ID
    Alternate Lookup ID Type Code 1
    Alternate Lookup ID 1
    Individual

  2. Ensure you have a Constituent Update Batch template with the following fields
    • Lookup ID
    • Constituent Type
    • Last/org/household/Group Name
    • Alternate Lookup IDs
  3. Create the import parameter
    1. In Administration> Import Add a new import parameter
    2. Select your Constituent Update Batch Template and click ok
    3. Enter a name for the Import process such as Alt. Lookup ID Import
    4. For Import Source select Local file
    5. Browse out to the file created in Step A above
    6. Click next
    7. Map the fields to the fields in your import file.
      • Lookup ID
      • Constituent Type
      • Last/org/household/Group Name
    8. Click on the Alternate Lookup IDs collection field and select
    9. Map Collection Field
    10. Map the Alternate Lookup ID type to Alternate Lookup ID Type Code 1
    11. Map the Alternate Lookup ID to Alternate Lookup ID 1
    12. Click ok and Click Next
    13. Select the Other tab
    14. Under Search List fields select Use Quick Find o. Click Save p. Process import
