When downloading a web transaction in CRM or attempting to edit a User record in BBIS that is linked to a CRM Constituent record, the following error is received: "Server was unable to process request. ---> An error occurred authorizing the web service call from the plugin: Cannot open database "[DatabaseName]". Login failed for user '[UserNameHere]'.
This error can be caused by data entered, or more specifically the connectionString content, in your separate web.config files do not match up correctly across all server environments.
Please check the connectionString information in each of your web.config files (Database Server, Web Server, All Load Balancers, etc) to make sure that they are set correctly in each file on each environment. Verify you have entered the appropriate values for the Server locations, username and password, and their connection types.
