BBIS not displaying address configuration settings for some countries correctly.

In the Administration functional area, under Countries and States > Address Formats, users can define what fields the address layout should include for any given country (some countries don't have a value for "State," for example.

However, when a user in BBIS selects some of these defined countries on a donation page, the address format still displays fields as required that should not be in the address format, according to CRM Administration.

This issue occurs for countries other than the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.


Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch. 

For all previous versions, you can accomplish this by setting the country's Address Format to "United Kingdom". This address format does not require State/Province on BBIS forms.

To do this, navigate to Administration > Countries and States, scroll down to the Country that should not require State/Province, then expand it and click Edit. On the Edit Country screen, change the "Address Format" drop-down to "United Kingdom", then click Save. Now State/Province will not be required, and the rest of the Country's properties will remain the same.
