Add filters to Include Records Where:
  1. To ensure that members dropped from memberships do not skew the process, From the left column select Member. From the middle column drag Is dropped to Include records where and set equal to No.
  2. To get only active members, From the left column, Browse for Fields in, expand Member and  highlight Memberships. From the middle column drag Status into Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to Active. Your field will look like this: Member\Membership\Status is equal to Active
  3. (Optional) If you'd like to filter on level for your process, in the middle column, drag Membership level to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to or one of the levels you need in your process. Your field will look like this: Member\Membership\Membership Level one of Family, Patron
  4. (Optional) If you'd like to filter on a specific action for your process (such as join or renew), in the left column, expand Membership where we highlighted it before. Now highlight Membership Transaction. In the middle column, drag Action to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to or one of the actions you need in your process. We also recommend to get the most recent transactions you are printing cards for to add a Transaction Date filter. From the middle column, drag Transaction Date (date only) to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to or one of a time period you will not have to change (we recommend this month and last month). Your fields will look like this: Member\Membership\Membership Transaction is one of Renew, Rejoin, Upgrade, Downgrade and Member\Membership\Membership Transaction\Transaction date is one of This Month, Last Month.
  5. To get only Active Cards, highlight Members under Memberships and highlight Member Cards (this is looking at all members on the membership). From the middle column, drag Status to Include Records where and set this equal to Issued. Your file will appear like this: Member\Membership\Members\Membership Cards\Status is equal to Issued.
  6. (Optional) If you'd also like to eliminate any cards that may have been previously converted but never printed, also drag Expiration Date to Include Records Where and set this on of after today. Your field will appear like this: Member\Membership\Members\Membership Cards\Expiration date is on or after today.
Add fields to Results Fields to Display:
  1. With Member, Membership, Members, Member Cards still expanded, from the middle column drag Card Number to Results Fields to display. Click the Sigma button and choose to apply a COUNT function to this field. This will give us a count of unique cards on the membership. Your field will appear like this: COUNT(Member\Membership\Members\Membership Cards\Number)
  2. If you are using this as a selection, we will also need to add Constituent System Record ID to prevent errors. In the left column, highlight Constituent at the top of the column. From the middle column, drag Constituent record to Results Fields to Display.
  3. (Optional) If you'd also like to add Membership ID to your results, add the field Member\Membership\Membership ID.
Set Sort and Group Options Tab
  1. On the Set Sort and Group Options Tab, we will ask Altru to return only those constituents with memberships that have more than two cards. From the column "Select results fields for sorting or group filters" drag COUNT(Member\Membership\Members\Membership Card\Number) to Include Records Where. Set this to be greater than or equal to 2. Your field will appear like this: COUNT(Member\Membership\Members\Membership Cards\Number) is greater than or equal to 2.
