Graduation Date Field will default to a four digit year after 2030

When a date is entered in the Graduation Year on the Education/Schools relationship, it will default to the four digit year for 2030 and after; even if the option for the two did year is selected under Config>Business Rules>Alumni Options
Download and install the latest patch which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

If this does not resolve please work with your internal staff to adjust the Region and Language settings of your workstation(s). The display settings for year within Raiser's Edge are applied from the settings of your computer and not your Blackbaud software.

On a Windows 7 OS please attempt the following:
1. Navigate to Control Panel, Region and Language
2. Select Additional Settings
3. Select the Date tab
4. Adjust the fields for When a two digit year is entered, interpret it as a year between.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Select Config>Business Rules>Alumni Rules and set class format to YY
2. Open a constituent record>Relationship>Education/Schools
3. Enter a date 2030 or after
4. Save the change on the record
5. Re-enter the record,  Date will default to the four digit date.
6. Years 2029 and before will appear as two digits
