If the Crystal report is linked to one export:
  1. Open the Export in the Raiser's Edge
  2. Click Export Now and save the data to the .mdb file
  3. Save and Close the Export
  4. Open the report in Crystal Reports
  5. Go to Database > Set Datasource Location
  6. If the correct .mdb file does not appear at the top in the Current Data Source box, reset the location of the data source
  7. Click Close
  8. Save the changes to the report file and close out of the Crystal Reports application
  9. Go back to the Raiser's Edge and preview the Custom Report again

If the Crystal report is linked to two different exports:
 
This is planned to be resolved in Raiser's Edge 7.96, which will be released and applied to databases in Blackbaud Hosting Services in fall 2016. For further updates on this release, please refer to our Release page

Alternative Solution:
  1. In the Raiser's Edge, open the first Export that is linked to the report
  2. Click Export Now and save the data to the .mdb file
  3. Save and Close the Export
  4. Open the second Export that is linked to the report
  5. Click Export Now and save the data to the .mdb file
  6. Save and Close the Export
  7. Open the report in the Crystal Reports application
  8. Refresh the report to preview the data
