To do this, you must create an anchor tag for Page A:
  1. Navigate to Page A in PageBuilder and click Edit
  2. Select the portion of the page you would like to anchor
  3. From the WYSIWYG editor click the anchor button, and insert the name of your anchor (PageAnchor)
  4. Click Save and exit Page A
At this time, you have simply set up Page A with an anchor so Page B will recognize it once redirected. To setup Page B to redirect, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to Page B in PageBuilder and click Edit
  2. Select the portion of the page you would like to anchor
  3. From the Plain Text Editor, find the the area where you would like to create the link to Page A
  4. From the "Links" drop-down, choose PageBuilder
  5. Find Page A from the PageBuilder popup window
  6. Insert the text for the link, and click "Ok"
You'll now see a link that looks similar to this in the Plain Text Editor:
  • <a href="PageServer?pagename=Page_A">Page A</a>
Now you will add the anchor tag for Page A (#PageAnchor) to the URL argument so that it resolves the URL and then loads directly to the section you'd like:
  • <a href="PageServer?pagename=Page_A#PageAnchor">Page A</a>
If you are looking to use an achor tag to redirect a Page A link to another section on Page (same page anchor tag), please see the steps in BB747645.
