1. Ensure that you are on version 7.02 or later.
2. Scroll through all open windows (ALT + Tab) to make sure that there are no windows open in Raiser's Edge waiting for a response to proceed. For example, if creating an output query, a screen appears to name the query. Quick Letters does not process until this has been done. If you switched to another application after this window popped up, this screen may be hidden.
