Note : Before you proceed with the following instructions, back up the database. If your organization integrates multiple Blackbaud products, refer to the Additional Requirements section of the backup article.
Once a record is deleted, the only way to restore the record is to restore to a back up of your database from before the constituent was deleted. For more information, refer to How to restore deleted records, user names, or parameters. In addition, deleting a constituent record also deletes the gifts on the constituent's record. Refer to What happens to a deleted gift?.

  1. In Records, click Constituents.
  2. Open the record to be deleted.
  3. Select File, Delete from the menu bar.
  4. A prompt appears requesting to confirm the record should be deleted. Click Yes.
