In Outlook, accept the appointment request and set the reminder for the appropriate time such as 15 minutes before.  To have a reminder automatically set when running the symchronization:


    • Open Microsoft Outlook

    • Click Tools, The Raiser's Edge, Options

    • Select the Calendar/Tasks tab

    • Mark the Create Outlook calendar entries or tasks from Raiser's Edge actions option
    • Click Advanced Action Options
    • Mark the options:

      • Add a reminder to each Outlook calendar entry created
      • Add a reminder to each Outlook task entry created

      • Select the appropriate value for the Set Reminder field
      • Click OK
      • Click OK again
