In Raiser's Edge 7, you can add Actions to an Event record. You can use these to track important tasks that must be completed before the Event date.

You can either add an Action to an Event through the Event record itself, or you can add an Action from the Records screen.

To add through the Event record, simply select the Actions tab from the Event and click the button that says New Action.

To add a new Action from Records, simply add a new Action, then search for the Event. Make sure that the Record type Event is selected in the Search screen.
