Note: Before you proceed with the following instructions, back up the database. If your organization integrates multiple Blackbaud products, refer to the Additional Requirements section of the backup solution.

 
  1. Export the information
    1. Create a relationship query to select which relationships to export
    2. Export the constituent's import ID and the relationship's import ID (e.g. the organization to be updated) using CSV format
       
    • Edit the file in Excel
      1. Open the CSV file in Excel
      2. Set up headers for the exported data: ImportID and ORImpID
      3. Apply other appropriate headers for the new organization and populate with data. For Example: ORIsPrimary ORPos ORFullName ORAddrLines ORAddrNZCity ORAddrState ORAddrZip ORAddrCountry
      4. Save the CSV file.
      5. Import the CSV file
        1. Click Admin, Import
        2. Create a new Organizational Relationship import
        3. For the Identifying constituents field, select Import ID
        4. Mark the box, Update existing records
        5. On the Fields tab, ensure that all fields have been linked to a Raiser's Edge field
        6. Click Update Now
