The main benefit of marking a campaign, fund, or appeal as inactive is that it does not show up in the selection lists when adding new gifts, querying, etc. unless the Show inactive xxxx checkbox is marked.  To reactivate, unmark the checkbox as listed below instead of marking it.




For Campaigns, Funds, or Appeals:

1. Click Records, Campaigns, Funds or Appeals

2. Open the appropriate Campaign, Fund or Appeal

3. Mark Campaign, Fund or Appeal is inactive



For Packages:

1. Click Records, Appeals

2. Open the Appeal with the appropriate package

3. Mark Package is inactive



For all other fields:

1. On the navigation bar, click Configuration, Tables

2. Select the appropriate table

3. Double-click the appropriate value

4. Mark the Inactive checkbox to make it inactive



For example, to mark a phone type as inactive:

1. On the navigation bar, click Configuration, Tables

2. Select Phone Types

3. Double-click the appropriate phone type

4. Mark the Inactive checkbox
