Try each of the following steps in order until the error is resolved:
 
  1. Ensure the correct Academic Year is selected:
    • In version 7:
      1. Open the report card parameters and select the General Tab
         
      2. Select the correct Academic Year from the drop-down menu

       
    • In version 6:
      1. Print or Print Preview the Report Card
         
      2. In the Print Report Card Options window, select the Academic Year/Terms tab
         
      3. Select the correct Academic year

     
  2. Run the course average calculation for that marking column 
     
  3. Ensure the correct marking column is selected:
    1. Open the report card parameters and select the Details tab
       
    2. Open the Courses section
       
    3. Select the Columns tab
       
    4. Locate the row with Grade in the description
       
    5. Double click on that row to open it
       
    6. Select the correct marking column
       
    7. Click OK
       
    8. Repeat for each row that has Grade in the description
       
    9. Select the Comments tab and select the correct marking columns to include there, if applicable


     
  4. Make sure the marking column has the Print on report card checkbox marked when withdrawing students
     
  5. Post grades from faculty access for the Web 

     
  6. If the course name prints, but not the grade, check the student's record in Grades, Enter Grades by Student:
    • Version 7:
      1. In Grades, select Enter Grades By Student, and search for the appropriate student
         
      2. Right-click on the grade in question and select Details for student
         
      3. In the Details window, verify that the grade is marked to Print on Report Cards and Print on Transcripts. If it is not, mark those options and click OK.
        Note: For multiple students, you can globally mark the student grades to print on transcripts and report cards.
         
      4. Print the report card or transcript again


       
    • Version 6:
      1. In Grades, select the By Student tab, and search for the appropriate student
      2. Right-click on the grade in question and select Details for [course name]
         
      3. In the Details window, verify that the grade is marked to Print on Report Cards and Print on Transcripts. If it is not, mark those options and click OK
         
      4. Run the report card again
