1. Contact your preferred gateway to change your username and/or password for your gateway account. If using BBMS (Blackbaud Merchant Services), refer to How to change or reset your BBMS password. If you have already changed your password, proceed to step 2.
  2. Submit the login and password information to Blackbaud, or update Blackbaud products as appropriate:
    • If you are on Raiser's Edge version 7.91 or higher:
      1. Log into The Raiser's Edge as Supervisor
      2. Go to Config > Business Rules > Merchant Accounts
      3. Open the Merchant Account that you wish to update with the login/password change
      4. Update the login/password fields as necessary
      5. Click OK to submit the changes
    • If you are on Raiser's Edge version 7.85 or lower, call Blackbaud Customer Support at 800-468-8996 to inform us verbally of the updated username and/or password so that we can update the NetSolutions servers. Failure to do so will prevent us from processing your transactions. Note: In order to process this request before the weekend, Blackbaud will need the updated information before 4:30 PM EST on Fridays.
  3. If you are on Raiser's Edge version 7.85 or lower, enter the new username and password in NetSolutions on the Configure and Customize page. If you are on Raiser's Edge version 7.91 or higher, DO NOT change the Login ID and Password on Configure and Customize.
  4. Submit the NetSolutions configuration from the Configure and Customize page.

Note: The updated password must be 7-12 characters, and must include letters and numbers only, with no spaces.
