Search for existing activity on the Account record:

1. In Records, Accounts and open the account record in question
2. On the Activity tab, select Debit/Credit from the far left drop-down menu
3. Select the fiscal year date in the system from the Dates drop-down menu
4. On the right, select Both from the drop-down menu
5. Ensure there is no activity posted to any fiscal year
6. Select the Budget tab
7. From the Scenario ID drop-down menu, select the first scenario listed
8. From the Fiscal Year drop-down menu, select the first fiscal year selected
9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until all scenarios in all fiscal years have been reviewed

*Note*  Any activity or Budget information found will disallow an account from being deleted
