Error: Errors in the OLAP storage engine – when running a data warehouse SQL refresh job

The data warehouse SQL job will fail at it's scheduled time and when the job is processed manually. The following errors may be displayed in the SQL job history log:

Error: [date time]
Code: 0xC1000007 or 0xC1060000
Source: [database name] Analysis Services Execute DDL Task
Description: Errors in the OLAP storage engine: 
 
Restart the data warehouse/business intelligence server at the earliest convenience.  This type of error is usually caused by lack of memory on the server.

Steps to Duplicate

If the job is scheduled, let the job process at its normal scheduled time.

OR

Run the SQL job manually:
  1. Open SQL Server Management Studio
  2. Expand SQL Server Agent
  3. Expand Jobs
  4. Find the job you need to run
  5. Right-click the job
  6. Choose Start Job at Step...
