1. Create Query 1 with the following Criteria: Applicant>Status Log>Status equals: (Status 1). 
  2. Save and Close. 
  3. Create Query 2 with the following Criteria: Applicant>Status Log>Status equals: (Status 2). 
  4. Save and Close. 
  5. In Query, select File>Merge. 
  6. Insert Query 1 and Query 2 for the respective fields. The order will not matter. 
  7. Choose option: Only selected records included in both queries. 
  8. Merge Now 
This will create a static query that will include all records that have both Status 1 and Status 2. This query will need to be recreated to have updated results. Query 1 and Query 2 will update, so we would simply need to follow steps 5-8 to create a query with updated results.
