The software freezes when attempting to run a pre-post report in the Post to General Ledger sub-module

When attempting to Post to General ledger, clicking the Pre-Post Report button will freeze the program.  This occurs after the "Printing report..." message box displays.
If you encounter this issue in the latest version and patch of Raiser's Edge please contact support and reference this article.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. With RE and FE integrated, launch The Raiser's Edge and log in to the database
  2. Click "Admin"
  3. Click "Post to General Ledger"
  4. Set Journal Code to "Accounts Payable" 
  5. Set the file destination for the Export file to a valid location
  6. Click "Pre-Post Report"
