Performance issues when loading Ask Ladders page

When going to the Ask Ladders page of Marketing and Communications, a user may notice performance issues.  Sometimes a user may receive Error:  An unknown error occurred during the request.  This could indicate a request to an invalid endpoint or a problem with the web server configuration.  
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.
