Error: Invalid column name ‘REVENUEID’ – when linking existing revenue to an opportunity

When attempting to link existing revenue to an opportunity, users may receive the error message below if the “Only include revenue with the same designation” option is selected.
Error:  Invalid column name ‘REVENUEID’

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into CRM and navigate to the constituent functional area
  2. Select the ‘Constituent search’ task
  3. Search for any constituent record.
  4. When on the constituent’s record select the Prospect tab
  5. Select Plans
  6. Add a new prospect plan
                      Plan name: Enter any value
                      Plan type: Major giving
                      Start Date: Today
                      Primary manager: Any fundraiser
                      Secondary manager: Any fundraiser
                      Save the new prospect plan

7. Go to the prospect plan
8. Select the Opportunities tab
9. Add a new opportunity                   
                    Status: Accepted
                    Expected ask amount: any amount
                    Ask amount: any amount
                    Accepted: amount any amount
                    Expected ask date: Today
                    Response date: Today
                    Designation: Any fund can be used, but be sure to select a payment with the same designation when applying payments.

10.  Save the Opportunity
11.  Go to the Opportunity
12.  Select the Associated Revenue tab
13.  Click add and select ‘Existing revenue’
14.  Mark the “Only include revenue with matching designations” checkbox
15.  Search for a constituent to view their payments. Once the constituent has been selected, click Search --- Error appears:
   Error: Invalid column name ‘REVENUEID’
   Error: Invalid column name ‘DESIGNATIONID’
