Server Status appears as Unknown after attaching database with port specified.

After attaching a database to the Blackbaud Management Console, if the database was attached by specifying both instance name and the specific port that instance is using, the status for that server will be listed as unknown in the Blackbaud Management Console.  This will prevent the Blackbaud Management Console from viewing if the service is started and also prevent the Blackbaud Management Console from being able to start or stop the service.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

1.  Open Blackbaud Management Console.
2.  Start Attach Database Wizard.
3.  When selecting SQL instance, specify the servername and port of the SQL instance using the standard servername,portnumber nomenclature.
4.  Continue attach database wizard as normal.
5.  After database is attached, click on the SQL instance under Servers in the left-hand pane. Status will be unknown.
