Adding a countdown ticker to a site

Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud's School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks-constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same.
We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.

Countdown tickers can be added into a widget with an iframe

Is there a way to add a countdown ticker to website?

  1. Go to onMessage > Website > Pages & Menus > select a page to work with.
  2. In the Embed category add the HTML code from a software widget code generator such as timeanddate.com. The code is automatically generated with an iFrame already included.
  3. You may need to add an "s" after http in order for the ticker to display on the webpage.

Example code:

<iframe src="https://free.timeanddate.com/countdown/i4ntaqv3/n179/cf12/cm0/cu4/ct0/cs0/ca0/cr0/ss0/cac000/cpc000/pcfff/tcfff/fs100/szw320/szh135/tatTime%20left%20to%20Event%20in/tac000/tptTime%20since%20Event%20started%20in/tpc000/mac000/mpc000/iso2015-05-06T00:00:00" allowTransparency="true" frameborder="0" width="178" height="69"></iframe>

If this code doesn't work, try www.tickcounter.com or http://itsalmo.st/
