Unable to add recurrence scheduling to Event in Event Calendar Group Part

When trying to add a recurring event to an Event Calendar Group part a runtime error may occur when saving.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Alternative Solution:

Add the Recurring event to the Event Calendar that feeds into the event calendar group part. 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Locate Event Calendar Group Part on a page within NetCommunity
  2. Select New Event or edit existing event
  3. Fill in all required fields
  4. Under recurrence select either Daily, Every Weekday, Weekly, Monthly, Annually.
  5. Click Save
  6. See runtime error
