To open a file or save a file to a local drive, you must grant Citrix Receiver full access to files and folders on your computer.  To change the setting and allow the application to access files and folders on your computer, follow these steps:

On a Windows computer using Citrix Receiver 4.2 or higher:
  1. With the hosted application open, locate the Windows notification tray in the bottom right corner of the screen next to the date and time.
  2. Right-click the Citrix Receiver icon, which looks like a black square or circle with three white semi-circles inside Citrix Receiver Notification Icon (You may need to click the up arrow to show the hidden icons before you see the Citrix Receiver icon).
  3. Click Connection Center
  4. Click Preferences
  5. In the File Access Tab, select "Read and Write"
  6. Click Apply
  7. Click OK
  8. Attempt to save or open the file again, if you receive the message again, Exit and Sign Out of your hosted application and log back in. 
On a Windows computer using Citrix Receiver 4.1 or below:
  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Citrix Receiver for Blackbaud Hosting Services
  2. When you log into the hosted application again, you will receive the Citrix Receiver security warning.  
  3. Select Allow Full Access to give your hosted application permission to access files and folders on your computer.
On a Mac computer:
  1. With the hosted application open, click Citrix Receiver in the menu bar at the top of the screen
  2. Click Preferences....
  3. Select Devices
  4. Select "Read and Write"
  5. Click OK to close the window
  6. Attempt to save or open the file again, if you receive the message again, Exit and Sign Out of your hosted application and log back in.
