Recognition Credits are not created for membership transactions added via BBIS 
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.  

Steps to Duplicate

Steps to Duplicate: 
1.    Add a new Constituent 
2.    Once your new Constituent opens add a new membership on the memberships tab 
3.    select the following
•    paying for membership 
•    Account system
•    Program  and Level  
•    Pay in Full and Leave everything as default and click save 
4.    Once the membership saves select recent membership transactions and open the membership transaction
5.     On this transaction you will see how the membership transaction is added with 2 Applications.  One has Designation: None (earned income) and the other goes toward the designation.  There is also recognition credit for the donor 
6.    Browse out to a membership page in BBIS for the same program membership created in step 3 
7.    Select the Individual\Dual membership and select Add to cart 
8.    Enter information for yourself or a new Constituent 
9.    Ensure use this as my billing address is checked and click check out 
10.    Enter billing info and submit payment
11.     Login to CRM
12.     Go to Web transactions 
13.    Download the membership transaction
14.     open the batch that gets created 
15.    Highlight the row that has your transaction
16.     Select the dues tab
17.     Click on the recognition credits button and there are no recognition credits there 
18.    Commit the batch and no recognition credits are added for the transaction
