An error occurred trying to restore [Database Name]. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: The operating system returned the error '5(failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 15105)' while attempting 'RestoreContainer::ValidateTargetForCreation'

When attempting to attach a .bak file using the Attach a Database wizard in the Blackbaud Management Console, you may receive this error message:

An error occurred trying to restore [Database Name].

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError: The operating system returned the error '5(failed to retrieve text for this error. Reason: 15105)' while attempting to 'RestoreContainer:ValidateTargetForCreation' on [Path]
Complete each of the following in order until the issue is resolved:

1. Make sure the hard drive the database is being attached to has adequate disk space for the database files.
2. Make sure the account running the service for SQL Server (Instance Name) that is attaching the database has Full Control to the .bak file and the destination the database is restoring to.
