If you cannot process an Application and the candidate has relationships to be created, check that all the relationship types required to process the application are active.

To Check/Activate Relationship types go to:

Core  > Users > User Profile Settings 
  1. Select Relationship Types
  2. Click Edit (top right corner)
  3. Check the Activate button next to any relationship your school will recognize
  4. Click save to confirm changes
The Most common relationships used to process applications are:

Parent - Child
Grand Parent - Grandchild

Note: The system does not recognize the Relationship Type Husband-Wife within the application process, so make sure it is the Spouse-Spouse designation that is selected.
