To remove the academic courses manually, a Platform Manager will go to:
  1. Core persona
  2. School
  3. Departments & Courses
  4. Make sure Inactive is selected on the righthand side
  5. Select the appropriate school level and course
If there is a trash barrel icon, you will be able to delete it here. If there is not a trash barrel icon and a lock is displaying, you will need to check a couple things in order to have the trash barrel icon display.

If there is a lock displaying, in order to delete these courses you will need to check if the courses have sections offered, sections created, or course requests tied to them. 

To check if courses are offered/created, go to:
  1. onCampus persona 
  2. Procedure
  3. Academics
  4. Offer course
  5. Go to the year these courses were created and uncheck the blue checkmarks

  2. Find the appropriate year and delete the sections from the courses

To find if the course has course requests, you can look at the report Courses - Requests And Approvals under the Online Signup reports.
If you see requests tied to this course, you will need to remove those requests by having an Online Signup Manager go to:
  1. onRecord persona
  2. Approval
  3. Course Requests
  4. Click the Requests next to the appropriate student and remove
Once this is all done, go back to Departments & Courses and remove the inactive courses by clicking the red X.
