To customize the sign in instructions:
  1. Go to Core > Settings > Labels & Text > Custom Text/Messages.
  2. Click Custom Text/Messages.
  3. Click Edit next to the message you would like to change.
  4. In the HTML editor, enter a personalized message.
  5. Click Save.
Error Message: LDAP-Enabled Role (required only if using LDAP)
This message will display if a user who is a member of an LDAP-enabled role attempts to use the Automated Sign-In Help Process help process. LDAP users are not able to reset their password through Podium.
  • Default message: We are unable to process your request, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
  • Example of custom message: We are unable to process your request, please contact Tom Jones at x3209 for assistance.
Error Message: Login Disabled or User Locked Out
This message will display if a user tries to sign in but has a disabled login or is locked out.
  • Default message: We are unable to process your request, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
  • Example of custom message: Your account is locked or disabled. Please contact Tom Jones at x3209 for assistance.
Error Message: Profile Information Cannot be Verified
This message displays when a user attempts to request login information but the information provided (e-mail, first name, last name) does not match information in the Podium database.
  • Default message: We are unable to process your request, please contact your system administrator for assistance.
  • Example of custom message: The information provided cannot be verified, please contact Tom Jones at x3209 for assistance.
Sign In Help/Request Login Confirmation Text
This message displays when a user successfully requests their username and temporary password.
  • Default message: The login information you requested has been sent to [user e-mail]. The e-mail has been sent from [school e-mail]. To ensure receipt of this e-mail, please be sure this e-mail address is included on your address book/whitelist.
  • Example of custom message: The login information you requested has been sent to [user e-mail]. The e-mail has been sent from [school e-mail]. To ensure receipt of this e-mail, please be sure this e-mail address is included on your address book/whitelist. Please contact Tom Jones at x3209 with any questions.
  • The placeholders will automatically populate with the school @schoolnotification.org address and user's address.
Sign In Help/Request Login Instructions
This message appears when a user first clicks on the sign in help link. This text is the first set of instructions users will read before requesting the login instructions.
  • There is no default message.
  • Example of custom message: Thank you for visiting Brookfield School's community! To request your username and/or password, enter your email address below. You will receive your username and/or password at that address. If we do not have your email address on record, please call us at 603-555-5555 or send us an e-mail.
Sign In Page Text
This message appears when a user enters their username or password incorrectly and is taken to the sign in again page.
  • There is no default message.
  • Example of custom message: Please try entering your username or password again. If you do not remember you username or password, click the sign in help message or contact Tom Jones at x3209.
