Prospect manager history is not retained when the same Manager is used twice in a row

When updating or changing prospect managers on a constituent if the same record is used twice in a row the previous history item is overwritten with the new entry.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.  

Steps to Duplicate

1. Open any constituent record with a Prospect Manger assigned (8-10002264) in the data link provided
2. Select the Prospect > Prospect Team tab
3. Click “Replace Prospect Manager” button to add a history record by end-dating the existing manager, but not adding a new manager in the 2nd half of the form:
4. That will create an entry in the Prospect Manager History tab
5. Then click “Edit Prospect Manager” with the same PM that you just replaced, with a new start date after the previous end-date:
6. When you complete the action, the history for that PM is gone:

The only way to get around this is to have a historical record of a different PM between the entries, but if it’s the same PM twice in a row it removes the history
