If a constituent has an email address that meets the settings found at Account > Integration Options > Email Mapping, then the constituent will receive the message based on the preferred address email(s) or the bio1/org1 tab emails. If relationships are included in the list set-up, then individual and organization relationships with mapped email types will also receive the message.

If a constituent meets the query criteria and does NOT have an email address that meets the settings found at Account > Integration Options > Email Mapping, then the constituent listed on the bio1/org1 tab will not receive the message because their is no preferred address email(s) or the bio1/org1 tab emails. BUT if relationships are included are included in the list set-up, then individual and organization relationships with mapped email types will still receive the message.

If the "Requests no email" checkbox is marked on the Bio 1 Tab the constituent will NOT receive the message.

If a constituent is not in the query results to begin with, then individual and organization relationships with mapped email types will NOT receive the message.

Unless accounted for in the query filters, emails are sent to constituents and relationships regardless of the Send Mail to this Address setting on preferred addresses in The Raiser's Edge 7.93 and earlier and any relationship in all Raiser's Edge versions. (In The Raiser's Edge 7.94 and later, emails (phones) are separate from addresses.)
