To remove Roles from Users in Bulk navigate to:

1.) Start from your Core persona. 
2.) Navigate to User/Access > Profile > Manage Roles
3.) Click into the Role you are looking to remove the User(s) from
4.) From the channel on the left, click the Members link.
5.) Click Remove next to each member
6.) Click Ok after each user


To remove the Role from a Individual User navigate to:

1.) Start from your Core persona. 
2.) Navigate to User/Access > Profile > Edit User Profile Data
3.) Search/select the user you want to Remove a role for.
4.) Scroll to the bottom left under System Information and select Role Membership.
5.) Click Edit in the upper right corner.
6.) Deselect the roles you are looking to remove from that specific user.
7.) Click Save & Exit

NOTE: Some roles are managed by membership or enrollment, and cannot be removed via Role Membership.


Some roles can be deleted entirely if they are no longer being used by the school. Examples of these roles are some roles listed under "Other," and/or Cloned roles.
To remove a Role from your database entirely:

1.) Start from your Core persona. 
2.) Navigate to User/Access > Profile > Manage Roles
3.) Click into the role you are looking to remove from your system.
4.) From the channel on the left, click the Remove Role link.
5.) This will tell you how many users are assigned to this role.
6.) If you want to remove the role, click Confirm. This cannot be undone.
