Platform Managers, or constituents with access to edit their contact card, can use the phone channel to manage phone numbers. Each user can have up to 9 different phone numbers (home, home 2, business/college, dorm, wireless, home fax, business fax, summer, and winter) in the database. Phone numbers can be shared among related users so that when a change is made to the number in one user's profile, it automatically updates the number in the linked profiles. The contact card to edit this is found in Core >People Finder > Relevant User > Contact card> then we can edit or add a phone number.

Each Phone Type can only be used once when adding phone numbers to a record.  Once a Phone Type is used, it will no longer show in the list of available Phone Types when adding a new number.
