Recognition credits are missing for matching gift claim if the designation is different than the designation on the matched gift.

When the designation of the matching gift claim is different than the designation on the matched gift, then recognition credits on the matching gift claim are missing. This does not occur when the designations are the same and occurs when the matching gift claim is automatically created or manually added.

 
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future release.

Steps to Duplicate

1.  Go to Constituent record and add a payment.

2. Add a matching gift claim to payment with a different designation. The claim can either be automatically created or can be manually created.

3. On the matching gift claim see that there is no recognition credit added for constituent.
