The Add-Ins tab is not present in the email window when the Raiser's Edge is integrated with Outlook 2013

When integrating The Raiser's Edge with Microsoft Outlook 2013, the Add-Ins tab is not available in an email message to create an action to The Raiser's Edge.

This was resolved in The Raiser's Edge 7.96, patch 4, released in May 2017 and applied to databases in Blackbaud Hosting Services. If your database is installed locally, download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.

If the Add-ins tab is still missing:

  1. Run Outlook as Administrator when integrating with Raiser's Edge. 
  2. Download and run the REREGISTER utility: How to download and run the REREGISTER utility. Note: Run the REREGISTER utility as Administrator to ensure the files are registered properly.

1. In Outlook 2013, click New Email, or open an Email from your Inbox
2. Note Add-Ins tab missing from email window
