Error: Required Field Missing: Receipt Stack - when saving Matching Gift in Batch (Canadian Version)

When adding a Matching Gift in Batch, users may receive the error when Receipt Stack is a required field in The Raiser's Edge.

The Matching Gift record does not save the Receipt Stack and users are unable to add additional gifts or commit the batch.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information. 

Steps to Duplicate

1.  Open a new gift batch
2.  Add new gift
3.  Add Matching Gift and select value for Receipt Stack field.
4.  Save and Close Matching Gift record.
5.  Tab to next gift row or attempt to commit batch.
6.  Receive error.
7.  Reopen Matching Gift record.  Receipt Stack field blank.

In the meantime, follow the steps below:
1. Select Config > Fields
2. Highlight the Gift record type
3. Unmark Receipt Stack as a required field


1. Open the gift
2. Select the Matching Gift tab
3. Add a Matching Gift
